Ground Up Apothecary creates all natural bath, body and beauty products for men and women using mostly products from local farmers. We look to make bath and beauty products with a few simple ingredients sourced from local farms if possible.
We use local, organic, natural ingredients to create simple, effective bath and beauty products.
We have two in-house brands one featuring the iconic Cannabis leaf celebrating the amazing powers of hemp seed oil featured in our products.
We also have “Farm-to-Face” brand celebrating our commitment to creating skin and body care products using the best in farm fresh ingredients. This branding lacks the iconic cannabis leaf which some find inappropriate for their brand.

Farm Fresh Hemp Seed Oil –
Hemp Seed Oil is an amazing oil. It is loaded with a variety of omega fats, tons of vitamins and minerals. It is incredibly good for your skin. We can’t claim health benefits, but once you try hemp seed oil you will be able to tell for yourself. It’s my favorite oil. It taste fantastic. I use it daily for things like salad dressing and I use it daily in all my bath and body products.

Hemp holds tremendous promise with tens of thousands of uses. Currently much of the hemp industry is clouded in regulatory roadblocks making it difficult for hemp farmers to profitably farm hemp. Both the USDA and the FDA have made it very complicated to be a hemp farmer. We partner with hemp seed oil producers to offer a new market to hemp grown and pressed in the USA.
Coffee Infused Sweet Almond Oil –
Sweet Almond Oil is my second favorite carrier oil. It has great properties for a variety of uses and I love the simplicity of it’s flavor compared to the very distinct flavor of hemp seed oil. Using a technique I created for a different application in the hemp industry, I learned to infuse all the benefits of coffee directly into sweet almond oil.
We start with Ethiopian Fair Trade Coffee – we use Ethiopian Coffee because of very special ties I have had for decades with some very special Ethiopian people. We grind the coffee and then using our own process, we directly infuse the benefits of coffee into the sweet almond oil.
Local Farm Fresh Beeswax –
Farm fresh, unfiltered beeswax. I prefer to use farm fresh not only because these are great farmers and I want to support local farms and local farmers, but I believe that the best beeswax is the most natural beeswax in it’s most natural state.
Ethiopian Fair Trade Coffee –
I love Coffee and I love Ethiopia. I have a long-standing love of Ethiopia and the people I know and love from Ethiopia. So for me, there was no choice but to use Ethiopian Fair Trade Coffee
